“ We came to Beity for my husband’s birthday and opted for the tasting menu — and it was truly something special. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm and welcoming, and the service was just as thoughtful. Our server, Cal, was incredible — kind, attentive, and so knowledgeable about each dish and its ingredients. He made the whole experience feel personal and celebratory. The tasting menu was generous — course after course of beautifully plated dishes that showcased the range and richness of Lebanese cuisine. We started with light, bright mezze: creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, and the freshest tabbouleh I’ve ever had. The house-made pita was perfectly warm and pillowy. From there, the dishes kept coming — juicy lamb kofta, delicately spiced kibbeh, and an unbelievably tender chicken dish with a tangy toum that I’m still thinking about. Everything was seasoned with intention and layered with flavor. We unfortunately had to rush through the later courses because we had evening plans, and I genuinely wish we could’ve slowed down and soaked it all in — Beity is a place that deserves your time. That said, even with the time crunch, every bite we managed to savor was excellent. The pacing from the kitchen was spot-on, and you could tell there was real care behind each plate. This was our first time doing the tasting menu here, but definitely not our last. Can’t wait to come back with more time and appetite to enjoy it all again — slowly. Highly recommend Beity for a special night out or anytime you want to be reminded how joyful and satisfying a great meal can be. ”
“ Enjoyed the intimate 8-course tasting experience! Every dish presented was beautifully crafted and full of delicious flavors, the lamb tartar was just out of this world. None the less Olivia (bartender) made us some extremely pleasant cocktails! ”
“ Such a great dining experience. We did the tasting menu with recommended wine pairing and really enjoyed it. The balance of flavors and textures made the food really special. The staff was knowledgeable and shared helpful information about the traditional preparation and where the chef had deviated and taken inspiration from various dishes. Preston, the sommelier, made the experience even more enjoyable by sharing the wines in a super fun, approachable way and welcomed questions. The overall ambience with the music rounded everything out nicely. Hope to go back again sometime. ”
“ I’ve been following Beity’s journey to becoming a restaurant online for over two years, and to say that my expectations were high would be an understatement. I watched photos of stunning dishes populate my Instagram feed and couldn’t wait to see if the final dining experience would live up to them. After finally getting the opportunity to dine there last week, I can say that I couldn't have imagined my visceral response to the meal. (i.e., the final tasting scene in Ratatouille) As a Palestinian American who has always appreciated a tasting menu, I was genuinely moved to see such authentic Middle Eastern ingredients and dishes elevated to the caliber that Chef Ryan Fakih achieved with his menu. In today's world, where the Middle East is often at the forefront of global discussions, it feels more vital than ever to recognize and appreciate the beauty and complexity of its culture—especially its cuisine. I felt a profound emotional shift when I saw “Teta’s Tasting” at the top of the menu while sipping a "Tabouleh" cocktail. While I’ve had tasting menus highlighting every other cuisine, this felt like a true homage to our collective heritage and the immense love that can be found in our grandmother's dishes. From the moment I stepped into Beity, I was blown away by the warmth of the space. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with subtle touches that pay homage to a Lebanese home while maintaining a modern, refined atmosphere. Everyone I interacted with—from the hostess to the bartender to our server—was more welcoming than the last. Now, let's talk about the food. Each dish on the tasting menu was a work of art, meticulously crafted and beautifully presented. It’s one thing for a chef to create a new dish that nobody has ever seen before, but the dining experience felt like a master class in taking some of the most beloved dishes of my childhood to a Michelin-starred level. The Shish Barak, Sayadiah, and Qatayef were some of my absolute favorite dishes on the menu, so get your taste buds ready. Not to mention, the staff presented each of these dishes with a perfectly concise explanation of the dish and its significance to the chef, which gave the meal so much more context. The staff was always present for a question or a refill but never overbearing. The attention to detail while wiping down the table between each course did not go unappreciated, especially while representing a culture so driven by cleanliness. I went to this dinner with one of my friends for his birthday, but I can’t wait to bring the rest of my Palestinian family to experience one of the most special dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. It's truly a culinary treasure that deserves all the praise it receives. ”
“ An absolute breathtaking experience. Wine specialist on site, wonderful pairings fantastic food. I’ve been all over the world eating the best food and Beity is one of my favorites. Great job guys! Sourdough pita, lamb, hummus, all fantastic. Can’t go wrong here. 10/10 thank you! ”
“ A beautiful space. I loved going here before it is the space it's now. And I was super impressed with the remodel. Love Lebanese food and selected to go for my birthday. Really enjoyed the experience very nice experience. Thank you. ”
“ The best Lebanese food in Chicago. So well presented and the flavours were delicious. Favourite dish was the kofta. All the breads are so fresh and I think house made. Great service and the interior reminded me of Lebanon with the stone roof. ”
“ Delicious Lebanese cuisine served in a cozy space. The retro arab funk music playing while we ate added a wonderful ambiance. The staff were incredibly nice and passionate about their food offerings. The sommelier was very enthusiastic about the available wines and the stories behind them. Beity lives up to its name - they made me feel right at home. Shukran! ”
